Celebrating Jesus Christ as Lord!

Leadership Team

Chad Patterson
Senior Pastor

Chad is passionate about seeing the kingdom of God transform the every-day matters of life so that we all experience an abundant life. Chad has actively known Jesus since early childhood and served the Church of the Hills community since 1999. Before pastoring, he worked in public policy and business. Chad is married to Marna and they have five children.

Chad has a huge joy for the journey and hopes to meaningfully contribute to yours. Among his many duties as Senior Pastor, he also oversees the Men’s Ministry.  Find him and his micro-blog on Facebook as “Pastor Chad.”  You can also follow him on Twitter @COTHChad.

Becky Young
Senior Associate Pastor

Becky joined Church of the Hills’ leadership team in January 2001.  She relishes time with three adult children, a son-in-law and a very precious grandbaby.  Becky currently oversees Children’s, Youth, Missions and Worship Ministries. NxGen, our children and youth ministry, provides fun environments for all age groups, including the volunteers, so that everyone experiences God right where they are and are equipped to follow Jesus in their every-day lives.  The Missions Ministry is dynamic and operates in local, regional and foreign venues.  Church of the Hills Worship Teams have a blast ushering in God’s presence for COTH’s corporate services.

Becky is passionate about calling forth destinies and partnering with individuals to fulfill their destinies.  She believes that, regardless of age, God has a great purpose and extraordinary plans for each person today!  So let’s be the “best me” God created me to be.

Melanie

Melanie Wessels
Director of Adult Education Ministries

Melanie and her husband Steve moved to Cedar Park in 1998 and joined Church of the Hills shortly after that.  Melanie spent time in the banking industry, raised three unique and lovely children, and had a career in education before joining the leadership team.  Melanie spends time with her family every chance she gets.  Their son Daniel’s death in 2015 has increased Melanie’s passion for speaking life and truth into the lives of others.

Seeing others step into their identities as beloved sons and daughters excites Melanie.  She looks forward to what God is going to do as she explores all that being Director of Adult Education Ministries can be.
