Charles is the founding pastor of Church of the Hills. His teaching focuses upon a person's relationship with God and how the Bible can be applied to life's daily decisions and challenges. He also recognizes that God calls every believer to a divinely ordained purpose, and Charles desires that each person identify that purpose and see it fulfilled.

Charles enjoys strong and vibrant relationships with many pastors in the Austin area. Although Church of the Hills is not legally affiliated with any other church or denomination, Charles believes strongly in open relationships with other Christ-centered churches in our area.

Church of the Hills was planted by another church in the Austin area. Since that time Church of the Hills has planted two other churches locally, as well as assisting with other church start-ups. Through our missionaries we have also helped sponsor a church plant in Latvia, a former Soviet country.

Charles and Marquita have traveled to many parts of the globe to minister including Africa, Asia, Europe, and Latin America.

Charles and Marquita have two grown children and three grandsons.
